About us....a step back into time
Experience elegance at The Queen Anne House!

The Queen Anne House, built in 1901 by J.J. Gibbs, takes its name from the Victorian style architecture used in its construction.  The house has a beautiful turret with curved glass windows, wrap around porch and many gables accented with the original fish scale siding.

In order to provide an intimate, special evening for the bride and groom, indoor weddings are limited to 30 guests while receptions can accommodate up to 100 guests.  If your guest list is larger, the wedding can be held at a gorgeous turn of the century church located nearby which accommodates 100 guests.  Afterwards, guests can enjoy the reception at The Queen Anne House.  This venue is also a great venue for anniversaries, birthdays and other celebrations.  For someone looking for a special place to do a last minute, quick ceremony, we offer a simple, inexpensive package to meet your needs.  We also provide outdoor weddings for up to 75 persons.

The Queen Anne House desires to provide an affordable, classy venue to make your occasion memorable.  With a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, everyone who enters The Queen Anne House enjoys their stay and the hospitality offered there.  Many beautiful weddings have been held at the house through the years.  The staff at The Queen Anne House make a concerted effort to ensure that couples enjoy every aspect of their wedding.  For added romance, extra amenities include a horse drawn carriage and a pianist to play the baby grand piano during the wedding and reception.

Located just 30 minutes east of Mesquite on Highway 175, and 15 minutes from Interstate 20 in Forney, this authentic Victorian home is perfect for an intimate wedding ceremony and reception.  The Queen Anne House is in Kaufman, county seat of Kaufman County, and is near Terrell, Forney and Mesquite.
